A street party
On Saturday we went to a nearby street party. Sunnyboy was intrigued by the fact that we could walk in the road. We had the same conversation several times, about how the road was blocked off to cars that day for the party.
Sunnyboy was delighted to find a little bit of sand in the road to play with,
and jump in.
He also enjoyed the 'Kids Painting' area.

ReplyDeleteWe enjoy a good street party, too. In Brooklyn we call them block parties. It seems like there is one every week in the summer!

it would be difficult for a child who knows he cannot play in the street, for this day can.
