    Great repurposing! When I was about sunnyboy's age, we had a bunkbed and a double bed in a very small bedroom with a very narrow aisle between them. My sister and I repurposed the top bunk of the bunkbed for jumping onto my oldest sister's (typically very neatly made until we came along) bed.
