Sunnyboy loves making mud pies with friends in the garden.

He's always had an indoor play kitchen and also a box of kitchen utensils, bowls and buckets for the garden, where he has a mud patch. Recently he said he'd like Nozy to help him make a wooden cooker for the garden so I've been looking for inspiration for an outdoor play kitchen area we can get ready for spring. These are some of the kitchens I found.

ReplyDeletePlay kitchens are great for children and every child should have one at one point or another. It doesn't matter if the child is a boy or a girl, there are certain skills that are learned through playing with kitchen sets.

My kids would that that set up!!! I especially love the stove top on the turned over barrel!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of outdoor kitchens. We make a lot of sand cakes in our sandbox. I made her a stove out of a large box with a foam core shelf in it. I don't know if I ever put pictures up. We have it in our garage for the winter so if the weather is yucky we can still use it.
