You Capture is a weekly photo challenge at I Should Be Folding Laundry. This week's challenge is Emotion.
Last week Sunnyboy had the biggest meltdown of his life, ostensibly because I needed to go to the Post Office but he had a lot of big emotions that needed to be expressed. It was so overwhelming for him that afterwards he fell asleep in my arms, still with his coat and shoes on.
When he woke up Sunnyboy was his usual happy self again and asked me to get the camera to take a picture of him and his baby doll.
The sweetness of a sleeping child. Heart melting. I love that he woke up happy and smiling.

My favorite part of my 6-week old daughter's naps are when she's just waking up and does a big stretch that curls her whole body...Great pics!
ReplyDeleteJust a little nap can make all the difference!
ReplyDeleteAww, sleepy little sunnyboy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright smile!
Awww, that is so sweet that he asked you to take a picture of him and his baby doll! What a great kid he is!
ReplyDeleteHe is just lovely. I know how he feels though - when it all gets just too much. A x
ReplyDeleteit's lovely what a post tantrum nap will do for ya! (and him)
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to let it all out! I'm glad he felt better after the nap!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Who would have known he had a meltdown just earlier?! :D
ReplyDeleteJames doesn't have many, but I do feel for him when they happen - such big big emotions - they have to come out somewhere. I think if they are allowed to feel these enormous things it strengthens them so much. Look at Sunny boy smiling there - he is so happy.
