Love You Forever and the Robert Munsch Virtual Story Room

Love You Forever by Robert Munsch (with illustrations by Sheila McGraw)

'A mother held her new baby and
very slowly rocked him back and forth,
back and forth, back and forth.
And while she held him, she sang:
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
my baby you'll be.'

Listen to Robert Munsch read his books to children at the Robert Munsch Virtual Story Room.

  4. I have always teared up when reading this story... it is SO TENDER... but, now that I have kids of my own, it is that much more special!

  5. I have read this book to my son since he was only a few days old, and now, ten years later, I still can't make it through this story without my eyes brimming with tears!

It so completely touches a mother's heart, doesn't it?

  6. I LOVE THIS BOOK!

I purchased a copy when Prince was 8 years old and we still sit and read it. My teen would kill me if he knew I was saying but he usually ends up snuggling with us too LOL
