Sunnyboy: If anyone ever bullied you I would pick them up and throw them in a pond.
Me: A stinky, slimy, muddy pond?
Sunnyboy: Oh yes.
Me: With crocodiles in it?
Sunnyboy: Not crocodiles! But maybe some geese.

Saying goodbye to Tiddler and Tom

We were so happy to bring you home. We wanted you to stay. Now that you are gone my heart is broken again. Your big brother says you took your suitcases and teddies with you. We will always love you and remember you.

Two more embryos are home

Yesterday morning we brought home two day 5 embryos. Their big brother has given them each lots of kisses and told them he loves them. We both love them and want them to stay.

At the clinic half an hour after the embryo transfer.

2nd July - Sunnyboy has named our embryos Tiddler and Tom.

Teddy had a baby

Sunnyboy loves playing with cuddly toys and often buys cuddly toys from our charity shop. When he was younger Monkey was his favourite but for the last couple of years the favourite has been Teddy. The other evening, after Sunnyboy had gone to bed, I found a mini teddy bear that I'd bought and hadn't yet given to Sunnyboy. I left the little teddy in big Teddy's lap, on the sofa, for Sunnyboy to find in the morning. The next day when Sunnyboy woke up and went into the living room he was so excited. He came running to me and said, "Mama, Teddy's had a baby", then added, "I didn't know Teddy was a girl".

I love you Sunnyboy. Happy Valentine's Day.

2012 has been lots of fun with you Sunnyboy. I'm so lucky to be your mum. I love you and it was a good day today.

"Pig The Magnificent" (Pigs By Kids competition)

We were delighted to be sent an amazing art and crafts Piggy Pack by NatWest who are relaunching the iconic NatWest piggies and are running a Pigs By Kids competition for children to design the new NatWest pig. We had great fun designing our pig and using the art and craft materials in the Piggy Pack to decorate a paper-mache piggy bank. Sunnyboy has named him "Pig The Magnificent" and here he is:
