A rainy day at the Botanic Garden

We've had some lovely summer weather here but we've also had a lot of rain. Last week we met up at the Botanic Garden with home educating friends on a rainy day and stayed dry in the glasshouses.

We watched the fish in the Tropical House,

did drawings in the Cactus House,

Tyrannosaurus Rex cactus

Pterodactyl cactus

Kentrosaurus cactus (turns into a Euoplocephalus cactus when it's angry)

Spinosaurus monster cactus (says "come back food" when it's hungry)

Baby dinosaur cacti

and in the Alpine House.

Dinosaur mountain

When the rain finally stopped we went for a walk around the garden,

and did more drawing outside.
