Anna's Red Sled by Patricia Quinlan (with illustrations by Lindsay Grater)
'I remembered that one night my mom took me to the park on my sled when it was dark. "I want you to see the stars, Anna," she said.
We were the only ones in the park. All the other kids had gone to bed.'

I'll have to look for this book. We just went sledding for the first time this year and my son would really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a sweet story!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Sunnymama! I've made a suggestion for RED books and audiobooks next week... you beat me to it! :)

ReplyDeleteI miss reading to my (then) little girls, even though they provide me with other sorts of pride and joy now that they're young adults. :)
When I was a kid I love to read books so I just borrow my classmates books..and those books are cinderella, snow white etc...I don't go for recess time(in school) because I want to read it before my classmate brings his books home. There is more to my story hehehe...thanks for sharing!
