By William Wordsworth
With little here to do or see
Of things that in the great world be,
Sweet Daisy! oft I talk to thee
For thou art worthy,
Thou unassuming commonplace
Of Nature, with that homely face,
And yet with something of a grace
Which love makes for thee!

Oh how very sweet! Happy O.W. to you...
ReplyDeleteYour little Sunnyboy is so adorable, watching him with the daisies reminds me of a song that Doris Day sings called Please don't eat the daisies. I also believe there is an old movie with that title. lol
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.

The sweet simplicity of Wordsworth's words are enough to describe the little boy's innocent passion of his own world around the daisies.
ReplyDeleteTwo memes I had never heard of. Nice picture.

ReplyDeleteSunnymama...every time my daughter and I walk on the beach, we make a heart out of items we find on the shore and leave it for a random stranger to find.

I love daisies too!!! When I was younger I would take walks to pick the wild daisies that grew on the side of the road. I always had a fresh bouquet of daisies. As in "You've got mail" states don't you think that they are such a happy flower. Happy Earth Day
